Family Portraits with a Dog in the Park

Sumico Photography had an opportunity to capture this gorgeous family with a handsome black poodle, Louis.
I have known Maureen, the mother of the family, through the Logan City Women In Business Networking group. She is an administrator, chair-person at breakfast meetings, blog writer and facebook manager of the group and I am a web master of the LCWIB website. These photos are very special to me, not only because she is my friend but because I think that this is the first time I could capture somebody’s feeling through my lens. I could see and feel Maureen’s love to her daugther, her husband’s love to his daugther and the daughter’s love to her parents. I cried when I opened the photos on the big screen because I could see thier love and I thought that it was so beautiful.
This photo was taken at Underwood Park, Roachedale. It is one of the great venues for portrait shooting in the Logan City area.
Maureen organised red and black balloons for the photo shoot. When we moved around in the park, we lost them. I am glad that we had a couple of photos with balloons, we also had bubbles. You can see some of bubbles in the photos if you look closely.
