Lorraine’s 60th Birthday Glamour Portrait and Family Portrait

This photo shoot was a gift by Lorraine’s daughter Melanie.  Melanie’s sister, Ebony and Mel’s two daughters, all got pampered by my hair and makeup artist, Emma Christine.

They all looked fabulous and enjoyed the photo shoot.

A couple of days later, Lorraine had a birthday party.  I took photos of her family including boys and it was fun too.

This is a great way to celebrate a special birthday.  We created a legacy for those children can pass on to their children.

I provide consultation prior to the photo shoot. Lorraine and Mel did not have heavy makeup so Emma applied natural makeups with eye lashes.  They prepared dark coloured clothing (black) and creamy colour clothing.

For portrait session, it is important for everyone wear clothing which compliment each other and not destructive (without strong patterns and logos) and bring sets of clothing in one dark coloured theme and ones with light coloured.  Then I decide which style and background to use.  We will discuss about the outfits at the pre-consultation.

I guide through all the poses and positions throughout the session.

One of Lorraine’s photographs was awarded to the Bronze in an international awards program called the Portrait Masters.
