Sumico Photography is located in Main Beach, Gold Coast. 8B, 15 Tedder Avenue, Main Beach.  If you search “Sumico Photography” in Google Maps, our studio will come up.

Our parking spaces is very limited and usually there are little to no parking spaces left at the premises. However, I can advise you to an area close to our studio for parking.

Yes.  I am happy to travel.  Depending where you would like to be photographed, a traveling fee may apply.

Currently we are not offering wedding photos. However, we are happy to take photos of couples in multiple outfit changes both in the studio and outdoors.

Yes, we do when the weather permits.  The Main Beach is just walking distance from my studio on Tedder Avenue. Usually, I take something more formal in the studio and then take photos at the beach towards the end of the shoot. Please advise in advance when you like to be photographed at the beach. We will set the time in the afternoon.

Our portrait session fee includes hair styling and makeup for one person by a professional artist.  Additional persons’ hair styling and makeup can be arranged at extra cost.

For headshots and personal branding sessions, hair styling and makeup are options.

Yes, you will be welcomed to do your hair styling and makeup by yourself or someone you usually work with.

Prior to the photo shoot, we provide a pre-photo-shoot consultation. We discuss how you like to have your hair and makeup done and what to wear. At the portrait session, you are welcome to try clothes in our studio’s wardrobes.

I will guide you through how to stand, where to place your hands, where to look on each photo, so just follow my instructions.

Yes. I encourage you to change into different outfits – some formal, some semi formal, some casual, some sexy.  Based on what you are wearing, I choose the background to compliment.

It will depend on the length of your hair, but usually, hair and makeup takes 1.5 hours and the photo session will be 2 to 2.5 hours.

It will take between one to two weeks for the photos to be ready for you to see them.

I like to present your beautiful portraits at their best, so I present your photos in prints. Either including prints or digital only, my process will not be different. I provide the purchased image on both print and digital for portrait session unless you purchased 10 digital images plus slideshow package.

We do not offer photo shoots on Saturdays because it is hard to book hair and makeup artists. However, some Sundays are available.

Yes, we do and we highly recommend to book hair and makeup for headshots and branding photos. They are fantastic at natural makeup. For headshots and personal branding sessions, hair styling and makeup are options.
